On 29 October 2025, museum of Literature and art of management of culture of Akmola region held a scientific-theoretic conference «ЖЫРАУЛАР ПОЭЗИЯСЫ – ХАНДЫҚ ДӘУІР АЙНАСЫ» («THE POETRY OF THE ZHYRAUS – A MIRROR OF THE KHAN ERA») dedicated to the 755th anniversary of Golden Horde and 560th anniversary of Kazakh Khanate, 30th anniversary of adoption of the Declaration of Sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The goal of the event was to upbring patriotism, respect for the history of nation, heroism of warrior khans who were defending their homeland among youth. Besides that, the conference was aimed to unite historians and literary scholars researching this topic, and also to create an opportunity of exchange of experience and increase young scientists’ interest in researches.
A rector of University after Shokan Ualikhanov, candidate of historical sciences Amanay Seitkasymov gave the first presentation. In his speech about «Жыраулар мұраларындағы тарихи шындық» («Historical accuracy in the heritage of zhyrau») he noted that the heritage of Kazakh zhyrau has not only literary value, but also an irreplaceable source which represents events of the past. A lecturer of Kokshetau state University after Shokan Ualikhanov, Master of Humanities Galymtay Tolepbergenov in his thoughts on the topic «Қазақстан - Ұлық Орда мұрагері» («Kazakhstan is a heir of Great Horde»), underlined that modern Kazakhstan occurred not by a chance, it is a heir of giant empires, like Golden Horde, which is confirmed by archival materials. Young scientist researcher Talapker Ualiev gave a report on the topic «Қазақстан - Ұлық Орда мұрагері» («Kazakhstan is a heir of Great Horde»). Senior Lecturer of Kokshetau state University after Shokan Ualikhanov, PhD Gulnaz Buquen gave a presentation about «Қаһармандық поэзияның негізін салушы – Доспамбет жырау» («Dospambet Zhyrau – founder of heroic poetry»). Closing word at the conference was given to the lecturer of Kokshetau high Kazakh pedagogical college after Musin Zhanibek Berdimuratuly who summarised the conference and noted the value of the topic «Zhyrau poetry»
As the result of the event, collection of articles was released, which contains works of 12 authors. At the end of the conference participants were given a certificates from the museum administration
