On 22 October 2025, an opening of a solo exhibition «Еркіндік пен үнсіздік» («Freedom and Silence») took place at the museum of Literature and art, which was dedicated to works Ibragim Isa, an artist and academician of National academy of design. The event was ornagised for the Republic Day and dedicated to the theme of independence and spiritual freedom.

     On the exhibition author’s works in various genres, and viewers were presented with paintings with profound content, which display national identity, the inner world and appearance of the person in modern society.

      Ibragim Isa from the moment he held a paintbrush in his hands was eager to depict the rich history of a Kazakh steppe, its legends, folk and daily life of the nation. There is a plenty of mystical characters and subtleties which sometimes do not reveal the secrets to the viewer. Specified features skillfully underlined by artist’s unique signature. The beauty of diverse colors attracts viewers’ attention to different thoughts and unintentionally leads them into a fantasy world, a wonderland.

      Representatives of Kokshetau intelligentsia, honoured artists participated in the exhibition opening ceremony. Director of the museum of Literature and art Nurbek Nuraly thanked exhibition author and gave him a memorable souvenir. Veteran artists: Yurii Popov, Ulbosyn Askarkyzy expressed their delight that honoured generation of followers is being formed and wished the author creative success. Director of the Children art school Yulia Zhelobkova and other colleagues wished the artist productive work.

     The museum staff will continue to promote the work of our talented fellow countrymen.
