18 May is a International Museums Day. As the part of the celebration on 16 May 2025 museum of Literature and art hosted «The Night of the Museums» event named «Ұлт жауһарын ұлықтайық» («Let us glorify our national treasure»). The main priority was the promotion of Kazakh national clothing.

A solo exhibition of an artist Victor Kubrin «Spring inside» was opened as a part of the event. Viewers liked the beauties of nature and city sceneries created by an artist. At the same time, members of non-governmental organisation «Palitra Sinegoriya» presented products made by jewelers and craftsmen, as well as textiles were presented to the city residents. Women wearing kimeshek held a fashion show of national clothing, representing customs and traditions of the nation.

The youth of «Zhaukazyn» theatre performed poems under the direction of K. Nasyrov of university after Shokan Ualikhanov.  Street musicians greeted guests of the event and gave a concert. In addition, «Gormolzavod» company delighted children by giving out ice-cream to the guests again this year. The guests were in high spirits after the spectacular event.
