On 20 February 2025 museum of Literature and art hosted a literary and educational evening «Қазақ прозасының – қара нары» («The mainstay of Kazakh prose»), dedicated to the 110th anniversary of classic of literature who left an indelible mark on Kazakh literature and history, Ilyas Esenberlin.

     On the event, which was moderated by the museum research worker Bakytbek Bekmuratuly. Sabit Zhambek and Ayan Kazhybay, lecturers of Kokshetau University named after Shokan Ualikhanov and candidates of philological sciences, Zhanibek Berdimuratuly, a lecturer of High Kazakh Pedagogical college named after Zhayandar Musin, participated in the event and introduced the guests and students to the life of great artist, including his birth, childhood, entry into literature and writing of historical novels.

     Ilyas Esenberlin who suffered from being an orphan since his childhood also went through war and prison, becoming stronger. This way he had become talented figure of his time who had fighter spirit. During the literary evening, Nurbek Nuraly, the director of the museum of Literature and art, had a speech and underlined that the writer also presented to the public in the exhibition of the museum of Literature and art. Guests expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the event for obtained knowledges.

     It is worth noting that immeasurable legacy and works left by Ilyas Esenberlin who dedicated all his life to creative work, opened the way to the deep history of the Kazakh people, a return to the past and the elevation of its spirit.
