On 14 January 2025 museum of Literature and art in collaboration with Kokshetau Kazakh city library hosted a literary musical evening called «Қара өлеңнің зергері – Қадыр ақын» («The jewel of black poetry – the poet Kadyr»). The evening was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Kadyr Ali.

     The event was moderated by Nurbolat Almenov, research worker, and the guest of the event was Sabit Zhambek, professor of Kokshetau University named after Shokan Ualikhanov, who shared interesting and meaningful information about life of the poet Kadyr. Nurbek Nuraly, the director of museum of Literature and art, in his turn, thanked participants of the evening and emphasized the importance of the event.

     As it became known at the literary evening, the first poem the poet was published in 1954 in Children’s magazine «Pioneer», and the first collection of poems named «Коктем» («Spring») was released in 1959. Works he wrote during all his life are combined in 16-tome book which had become the richest legacy of Kazakh literature. During the literary evening, 10th grade students of municipal state institution «Kokshetau city multidisciplinary school – Gymnasium №5 «Tandau»» of Akmola region education administration recited the poet’s poems and received audience’s applauses. As it known, around 120 songs have been written to the words of the poet. As the part of the event Muhamet Tleubay, research worker, performed a famous song «Сыған серенадасы» («Gypsy Serenade») based on the legend of Kazakh waltz Shamshi Kaldayakov

     It is worth noting that the literary evening became a highlight of the poet’s anniversary. Work to popularize Kadyr Myrza Ali’s works, who occupied the place in Kazakh people’s hearts, glorification of his name, to consolidate it in the minds of the young, will be obviously continued.
