Akmola region museum of Literature and art actively promoting not only professional artists, but also works of the younger generation and children. The opening of the exhibition «Шабытты балалық шақ» («An inspiring childhood») by Children’s art school on 9 January 2025 hosted by the museum of Literature and art is evidence to this.

Kokshetau Children’s art school celebrated its 45th anniversary this year. The school currently has over 350 students. The art school is considered an initial stage for a professional education. Over these years, over 2000 students finished the Children’s art school.

On the opening of the exhibition Aygul Sabitova, the director of Akmola region culture administration, Yurii Popov, chairman of Akmola region branch of Artists Union of Kazakhstan, artist and sculptor, Yulia Zhelobkova, the director of Children’s art school, Nurbek Nuraly, the director of the museum of Literature and art, had their speeches, wished young artists professionalism and presented with letters of gratitude for participating in the exhibition. Parents who took part in the exhibition thanked museum staff and wished them creative success.
