On 24 December 2025 meeting evening «Тіл, тәрбие, тағлым» («Language, education, and training») with Karatai Tolekeyev, veteran of culture, who made significant contribution to the development and popularization of mother language in our region, was hosted in the museum of Literature and art.

     Karatai Baikenuly is a talented activist who has worked as a school teacher for years and has made huge contribution to the development of national arts in the region. He is an author of stories and fairytales for children. Currently he is on a well-deserved rest. Recently his interest towards painting aroused, and a paintbrush has become his permanent companion. An exhibition of about thirty paintings by an amateur artist was organized in the museum's exhibition hall. During the evening magazine compiled by museum staff was presented to the public.

     Singers and poets – contemporaries of Karatai Baikenuly – were performing during the event. Kenzhebai Mukyshev, Kairat Beshimov and Sabyrzhan Makenov soulfully performed songs of Birzhan-sal and Ukili Ybyrai; and Almas Temirbai, a poet, generously gifted the public with his poems.

     At the end of the evening Aigul Talpakova, Deputy Head of the Internal Policy Department, and Kuanysh Kaiyrgeldyuly, the director of State language training center, spoke and wished Karatai Baikenuly creative success and presented him memorable gifts
