On 5 March 2026 museum of Literature and art hosted a ceremonial opening of art exhibition «Көктем әуені» («The melody of spring»), dedicated to the International Women’s Day. Main goal of the even was fitting celebration of The Women’s Day, popularization of social role of women and mothers, and also revealing the beauty of spring through arts and presentation of artists’ creative work to the general public.

   12 artists took part in the exhibition, and each of them presented their unique works to the guests. There were paintings, handmade items, decorative and applied art, as well as works of contemporary art movements among the exhibits. Every piece of art represents spring renewal, tenderness and beauty, a mother’s care and the artistic expressiveness of the female figure.

   At the ceremonial opening, A. Sabitova, Head of the Akmola Region’s Department of Culture, delivered a welcoming speech and expressed her gratitude to all the exhibition participants. Visitors viewed the artists’ works, shared their impressions and were left with vivid memories. The event took place in a warm, festive atmosphere, leaving participants and guests in high spirits.   

   In conclusion it is worthy to note that the «Көктем әуені» exhibition made a great contribution into popularizing artists’ creative works and encouraged further strengthening of cultural significance of International Women’s Day celebrations.
